For former Auburn defensive player Tez Doolittle, it's his year for the spotlight; it's his time to shine.
While playing for the Auburn Tigers, Doolittle demonstrated himself as the ultimate man hunter, tackling his prey with full force at ever chance he received.
During his college football career with the Auburn Tigers, Doolittle suffered injuries that could have stopped his entire career, but he seems to still be pressing forward awaiting draft day.
Although anyone would agree that Doolittle has talent, he was not selected for the NFL Scouting Combine.
Every year, a select few draft-eligible players are invited to the NFL Scouting Combine where officials from each NFL team evaluate the players for possible drafting.
As anyone could imagine, being one of those select few is hard to come by, even if your college career performances were outstanding.
Former Auburn players like Sen'Derrick Marks, Tyronne Green, and Jerraud Powers have been deemed by many to earn a spot in the draft and were all invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.
Despite not receiving an invite to Combine, Doolittle showed determination at Auburn’s Pro-day, where skills and effort caught the attention of many. I would not be surprised if Doolittle is among the top picks for the draft. Only time will tell.
