Nick Saban Actually Somewhat Pleased with First Scrimmage
This had to be some sort of twisted April Fool's prank, as Nick Saban was pleasantly upbeat when he addressed the media following the Alabama Crimson Tide's first scrimmage of spring practices. Saban said:
"I'm really sort of not disappointed at all. It actually went a lot better than I anticipated. We're a lot further along than I thought we'd be. But we have a lot of work to do for the rest of the spring, individually and collectively."
What's going on with "I don't look happy, but I really am" Saban?
There was some injury news. Running back Mark Ingram pulled his hamstring and will be out one or two weeks.
