Five-star wide receiver Robert Foster has committed to Alabama.

This is yet another huge recruiting win for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, as Foster projects to be a star receiver at the college football level.

Andrew Bone of TideSports.com tweets the news of Foster's decision:

Foster is ranked as the No. 3 wide receiver in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings, so this is a big pickup for the Crimson Tide. It's also a notable recruiting win considering that 'Bama was able to snag his commitment over Pittsburgh. While that would normally sound like a ridiculous statement, it's important to note that Foster is from Monaca, Pennsylvania, which is under an hour away from the University of Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh looked to have a great shot, but in the end, Foster committed to Alabama.

His commitment also gave Alabama a pretty huge boost in the recruiting rankings.

Here's my ranking of each SEC recruiting class, post-Foster commitment:

Only 15 recruits and just one 4-star (tight end Hunter Henry)? Hopefully Bret Bielema can turn Arkansas recruiting around.

13. Kentucky

Current Commitments: 16

Hey, at least Kentucky isn't last. That's not half bad...for a basketball school.

12. Missouri

247Sports Composite Ranking: 33

Missouri does have 17 commitments, which is good. 16 of those commitments are from 3-star recruits though.

11. Tennessee

Current Commitments: 15

Rivals Overall Ranking: 39

247Sports Composite Ranking: 41

Tennessee recruiting went through a rough patch when Derek Dooley was fired. This class will get better.

10. Vanderbilt

Current Commitments: 21

Rivals Overall Ranking: 14

247Sports Composite Ranking: 26

The Commodores have a solid class, but the numbers are a bit misleading. Vanderbilt only has two 4-star recruits, compared to 19 3-stars.

9. South Carolina

Current Commitments: 19

Rivals Overall Ranking:17

247Sports Composite Ranking: 18

South Carolina only has four 4-star recruits, which isn't all that impressive for such a big-time football program.

8. Mississippi State

Current Commitments: 21

Rivals Overall Ranking: 23

247Sports Composite Ranking: 20

Mississippi State does have four 4-star commitments, so for now it lands in the middle of these rankings.

7. Auburn

Current Commitments: 12

Rivals Overall Ranking: 27

247Sports Composite Ranking: 28

No. 7 may seem too high for a program that only has 12 commitments at the moment, but you have to consider that two of those commitments have superstar potential.

5-star defensive end Carl Lawson and 5-star defensive end Dee Liner are going to be game-changers at the college level, so their potential alone bumps Auburn so high on this list.

This is a class that will only get better with Gus Malzahn as the new head coach as well.

6. Ole Miss

Current Commitments: 21

Rivals Overall Ranking: 19

247Sports Composite Ranking: 21

Ole Miss could end up with one of the best recruiting classes in the nation if it can secure the commitment of No. 1 overall recruit Robert Nkemdiche. There's also a handful of other recruits that have a high interest in Ole Miss.

The Rebels will jump up these rankings soon enough, but for now the big word for them is "potential."

5. Georgia

Current Commitments: 30

Rivals Overall Ranking: 9

247Sports Composite Ranking: 9

From a sheer numbers standpoint, Mark Richt and his staff are doing very good in recruiting. The Bulldogs currently have 30 commitments, and they still have a ways to go on the recruiting trail.

There are a few other big-time recruits with interest in Georgia, including 5-star defensive tackle Montravius Adams (Top Five) and 5-star inside linebacker Reuben Foster (No. 1 according to 247Sports), so I don't expect this to be the final ranking for the Bulldogs.

For now though, they'll check in at No. 5.

4. LSU

Current Commitments: 23

Rivals Overall Ranking: 6

247Sports Composite Ranking: 8

Les Miles' 2013 class is very impressive, featuring 23 current commitments. What makes it even more impressive, though, is that 16 of those 23 are 4-star recruits, so overall he has a very talented class coming in.

LSU's main recruit right now could very well be 4-star defensive tackle Greg Gilmore, who's ranked as the No. 8 defensive tackle in the 2013 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

3. Texas A&M

Current Commitments: 34

Rivals Overall Ranking: 7

247Sports Composite Ranking: 7

Texas A&M is arguably the hottest recruiting program in the nation right now. Kevin Sumlin's 2013 class features 34 commitments, including a huge verbal commitment from 5-star wide receiver Ricky-Seals Jones.

Seals-Jones is the No. 1-ranked athlete in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and he projects to be a superstar wide receiver in the Aggies system.

The Aggies also have a commitment from 4-star receiver Derrick Griffin, who's 6'7'', 210 pounds and should also be a very good wideout.

This is a great recruiting class, especially offensively.

2. Florida

Current Commitments: 24

Rivals Overall Ranking: 4

247Sports Composite Ranking: 4

Will Muschamp has done an excellent job with his 2013 class, and it very well may be the best defensive recruiting class in the country.

Florida's featured recruit is 5-star cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III, but Muschamp has also brought in 13 other 4-star commitments, including big defensive names like 4-star defensive tackle Caleb Brantley and 4-star inside linebacker Daniel McMillian.

The Gators also boast the commitment of 5-star running back (according to 247Sports) Kelvin Taylor.

Overall, Florida's 2013 class is extremely solid.

1. Alabama

Current Commitments: 20

Rivals Overall Ranking: 1

247Sports Composite Ranking: 2

With the addition of Foster, Alabama's 2013 class has now jumped over USC for the honor of being the No. 1 overall recruiting class according to Rivals.com. 'Bama also vaulted over Florida within the SEC.

There's no doubting that Saban has put together one of the best 2013 classes in the country. Foster is the latest addition, but Alabama also has commitments from star recruits like 5-star tight end O.J. Howard and 5-star athlete/running back Derrick Henry.

'Bama now has four 5-star commitments according to 247Sports, and there are still a few elite prospects out there that have the Crimson Tide high on their respective interest lists.

There's a good chance this already great class will get even better.
