Some of the best college football recruits in the county will come together to square off in the annual Alabama-Mississippi All-State game.
These are two states that are known for producing very good football talent (mostly Alabama), and there are certainly going to be some big names featured in the 2012 version of the game.
There are sure to be a ton of plays made, and highlights will be aplenty.
Here are the top ten recruits that will be playing in the 2012 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game:
Marquez White is a 4-star recruit that is currently committed to Florida State
White is obviously a very talented and versatile player, and at 6'1'', 180 pounds (Rivals) he projects to be a difference maker in the defensive backfield.
Jonathan Cook is a 4-star cornerback and a big-time commitment for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Cook checks in at 6'0'', 183 pounds and runs a 4.51 40 according to 247sports.
He's got the size and speed to be a lockdown corner at the college level, and I expect him to be one of the featured players in the defensive backfield for the Alabama team.
Robinson will be one of many great playmakers for the Alabama team on offense.
Darius Paige is a big-time defensive tackle and he's committed to a big-time school in Alabama.
Paige is 6'4'', 285 pounds, so he'll be an imposing figure out there on the Alabama team's defense.
His size gives him a ton of potential for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, but at the high school level he'll easily be able to move people around and cause a lot of havoc on defense.
Look for Paige to make a lot of plays in this game.
Kailo Moore is going to be one of the major recruits on the offensive side of the ball for the Mississippi team.
He has great measurables at 5'10'', 190 pounds, but his speed is what sets him apart. He runs a 4.40 40 according to 247Sports.
Moore is one of the more talented running back recruits in the country, ranked No. 11 overall by the 247Sports Composite Rankings, so he'll play a big role in this game for the Mississippi squad.
4-star strong-side defensive end Chris Jones is going to be a big-time player on the defensive side of the ball for the Mississippi team.
Jones is 6'5'', 250 pounds and runs a 4.70 40 according to 247Sports, so he has a tremendous combination of size and speed for the defensive end position.
He's ranked as the No. 12 strong-side defensive end by the 247Sports composite rankings and he's committed to Mississippi State.
He'll be one of the premier recruits in this game.
4-star quarterback Jeremy Johnson looks set to be the quarterback of the future for the Auburn Tigers.
At 6'5'', 215 pounds he has great size for the position, but he also has the skill set to be mobile and move around the pocket when he has to.
He displays a good arm and a high level of athleticism, so it's no surprise that he's the No. 12 ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Frankly, he's even better than his rankings would suggest.
5-star defensive end Dee Liner is an Auburn commitment, and he projects to be a great one at that.
Liner has ideal size at 6'2.5'', 277 pounds and he runs a 4.86 40 according to 247Sports. He'll have the mass to play strong against the run at the college level, but his speed will allow him to be quick off the edge as a pass rusher.
5-star safety Tony Conner is the premier recruit in Mississippi.
Conner is 6'1.5'', and 203 pounds, so he has a tremendous build for a safety coming out of high school.
While he has not yet made a commitment, his top two consists of Ole Miss and Alabama according to his 247Sports interest list.
Conner will be the marquee player for the Mississippi squad and he's an elite recruit.
5-star inside linebacker Reuben Foster is one of the biggest names in the world of college football recruiting right now, and he's easily the most talented player featured in this game.
He has tremendous size at 6'1'', 240 pounds so he can be a downhill player and be strong against the run, but he also runs a 4.60 40 according to 247Sports. He'll be dominant off the edge, in space and especially in pass-rushing situations.
Foster recently decommitted from Auburn so his recruiting process has opened back up.
Georgia is listed as his top "warm" interest by 247Sports, but schools like Alabama, LSU, Washington and even Auburn are still in the mix.
Foster is undoubtedly the top recruit in this all-star game.
