This week, we should see the first big shakeup of the BCS Standings as there are two huge top-10 games that have championship game implications.

With that being said, welcome back to another week of the ultimate college football television guide. As always, I will be your guiding light to what is going to be an exciting week of television.

Like I said in the beginning, there are two games where top-10 teams in the BCS are facing off against each other.

However, aside from those games, there are other potential BCS shake-up standings games in the 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. section of the TV guide. These two games may not get the same hype that No. 5 Notre Dame vs. No. 8 Oklahoma or No. 2 Florida vs. No. 10 Georgia may get, but they will have huge ramifications if the lower-seed can pull off an upset.

Can No. 14 Texas Tech and No. 11 Mississippi State continue its Cinderella runs to the top of the BCS? Or will their dreams come crashing down on the road this weekend at the hands of No. 3 Kansas State and No. 1 Alabama?

And, speaking of the Crimson Tide, will this game against Mississippi State be where Alabama reminds everyone why they are the best team in college football?

However, before we can move forward to Week 9 of the season, I have to hit the pause button to give you a Cal U of PA update.

This week, the Vulcans continued to dominate its competition in the PSAC, as they decimated Gannon, 41-0. The Vulcans improved its record to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the PSAC. They entered this week at No. 12, moving up from No. 13 in the previous poll.

Okay, enough Cal U talk, let’s move onto a huge week of college football.
