Power Ranking SEC Uniforms with Arkansas' New Unis in the Mix
With all of the uniform changes taking over the college football world, the Arkansas Razorbacks are the next team on board that decided to team up with Nike and switch up its wardrobe. This is all to make the players happy and hopefully give Arkansas a slight edge in the recruiting process.
"The student-athletes are truly excited about our new uniforms and fired up to wear them," said Arkansas football head coach John L. Smith (via ArkansasMatters.com).
While the players may be excited, these new unis are sure to draw mixed reactions from fans across the nation. Some are going to love the new change, while some will play the traditional side of the fence and say that the Razorbacks shouldn't have switched the uniforms to begin with.
With this change officially in place, here are the rankings of each uniform in the SEC including the Razorbacks' new digs.
Tradition
1 of 5Tradition is what college football is based on. It's why many fans are so hesitant for their programs changing the uniforms in the first place. Here are the teams that stick to tradition the most in the SEC.

Overall
5 of 5Now that we have broken down everything, here are the final thoughts on every SEC uniform heading into the 2012 college football season.
1. Alabama (51 points) The Crimson Tide bleed tradition and you know their uniform right away when you see it. You may not like the plain style, but overall you have to respect it.
2. Georgia (50 points) I'm a sucker for red and black uniforms and believe every team should own a pair of black unis. Not to mention the helmets are classic.
3. Auburn (44 points) The Tigers have stuck with the "AU" on their helmet since the '60s and haven't changed the uniform much over the years. They also have one of the more unique color combinations in college football.
4. Florida (41 points) The Gators probably have the most underrated uniform in this conference. When you think of orange and blue, is there any other team that comes to mind but the Gators? That is impressive.
5. South Carolina (40 points) The Gamecocks have some sharp looking unis already, but if they switch to this for every game, I'll change the list and put them at No. 1.
6. Arkansas (32 points) I can do with the cardinal and white uniforms, but not the black jerseys. It is going to take some getting used to, but overall it could be a lot worse for Razorback fans.
7. Missouri (30 points) If it wasn't for the weird looking helmet, the Tigers would be so much higher on this list. Those new uniforms are nice looking.
8. Tennessee (28 points) I like the color combo of the uniforms, but to me there is a little too much orange going on. Mix it up a little bit.
9. Texas A&M (27 points) Just not a fan of maroon at all, sorry.
10. LSU (20 points) The Tigers are much like the Gators as they pretty much own their color combo. But purple and gold is not as appealing as blue and orange is.
11. Vanderbilt (20 points) The Commodores have a good thing going with the black and gold, but the overall uniform is too plain.
12. Kentucky (13 points) The Wildcats need to add more white into the uniform, looking like a Smurf on Saturdays is not cool.
13. Ole Miss (12 points) Yale Blue and Crimson? Yuck.
14. Mississippi State (12 points) See Texas A&M.
