Photos of New Arkansas Unis Leaked: Are They Real?

Last season, it seemed like every college football program wanted to become the Oregon Ducks and change its uniforms like most people change underwear. Most of these uniform changes made it hard to know who was who on the field, as teams ended up with wacky different combinations. (Seriously?)

It seems like this changing of the uniforms will continue to carry over to this season, as the Arkansas Razorbacks are the next team that will add a little flair to their wardrobe.

The real uniforms will be released on Wednesday, but there are a few pictures that have hit the Internet, raising a few suspicions. Photos like this and this have received different reviews from fans everywhere throughout the college football world.

Now the question is, are they real? Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long says absolutely not and we will have to wait for the release date to set our eyes on the real deal.

“None of those are official photographs. Where those things come from sometimes you have to wonder." Long said. (Via Arkansassports360.com)

Most fans don't like their college teams switching uniforms because the sport is based on tradition, and if there is one thing you don't do, it's mess with tradition. Long goes on to say that while the new unis do have a little new school to them, they made sure to pay its respects to the traditional side of things as well.

"I think our fans will see that ultimately when the real uniforms are revealed, we paid respects to our tradition. We embraced our cardinal and white and that will be the staple for our program going forward."

So it does appear that we will have to wait for tomorrow before we can have a legitimate opinion on the new digs. But if these uniforms are anything like the majority that were released last season, there may be a lot of unhappy people in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
