ACC and SEC Well Represented in Super Bowl XLIII

Super Bowl XLIII kicks off today between the Cardinals and Steelers with a decided ACC flair. The ACC has 22 players on the teams' rosters and one head coach, Ken Whisenhunt who played at Georgia Tech.

FSU leads ACC schools with five players, highlighted by Arizona WR Anquan Boldin. Surprisingly, Duke has two players in the game.

Alabama leads SEC schools with four players. The ACC is tied with the Big 10 with 22 players each. The SEC has 14, the Pac-10 has 11, and the Big 12 has 10. did a very interesting look at where the players played in college and high school. Michigan leads all schools with 7 players, followed by FSU (5), Alabama, and Texas (4 each).
