College Football Recruiting 2013: 4-Star WR Ra'Shaad Samples Is a Wanted Man
USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma; when looking at 4-star wide receiver Ra'Shaad Samples' offer list it is hard not to be impressed.
Not only does the Texas native have big-name offers, but he has a truckload of them.
ESPN's Damon Syles reports that the Trojans are the latest to extend a full ride to the Skyline High School star and that his offer list now tops 30.
Earlier this month the school's leading receiver accepted an offer to play in the Under Armour All-American Game and his impressive month of March isn't over yet.
This weekend Samples will be one of many recruits across the country to compete in one of the nation's top combines and camps. The 6', 170-pound receiver will make his presence felt at Sunday’s Nike Football Training Camp at the Dallas Cowboys practice facility in Irving, Texas.
Other events throughout the weekend will take place in Las Vegas, Florida and San Diego in addition to Alabama and Georgia's Junior Day camps.
One thing is for certain, programs will have plenty of information to go over through the end of March.
For Samples, it is just another opportunity to showcase his skills. Last season, on a team with wide receivers headed to Texas A&M and Grambling State, the junior recorded 65 catches for 1,369 yards and 19 touchdowns—all team highs.
It is pretty easy to see why so many programs are after him and, with it only being March, this is just the beginning.
The more time Samples spends in front of talent evaluators the more coaches are going to want him.
