Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: NBA DFS DraftKings Best Player Picks, October 30
Last night, Karl-Anthony Towns had his first, "don't forget about the number-one pick" game. Hopefully you played him on Draft Kings. The rookie on Minnesota scored 28, grabbed 14 boards and sent away four shots for a monstrous 57.5 point fantasy night. Towns looks spry on both ends of the floor and his T-Wolves are 2-0 and poised to jump into the mix for the eight seed—especially if the Pelicans take their time getting healthy.

Bron Dismisses Jabari's Take 😯

John Wall Named CBB Team President

Every NBA Team's Toughest Free-Agency Decision 😬
Speaking of the Pelicans, after years of injuries and lackluster performance, Eric Gordon is once again a reliable, high-floor, daily fantasy play. Per statmuse.com, he hasn't dropped below 24 fantasy points in any of his past six games. He's averaging nearly 29 fantasy points in that time frame. Five of those six games came against Golden State and the league's top defense.
His matchup with Warriors' guard Klay Thompson is fascinating to watch. Thompson is long and moves his feet well, but Gordon is quicker, and can often get by Thompson, but has trouble finishing around the rim when Andrew Bogut patrols the paint. Fortunately for Gordon, Bogut should miss his second straight contest with a concussion.
For the first time this season, I'm fading Anthony Davis. The offense is running through him, as it should be, but he hasn't put up the defensive and rebounding numbers so far this season. He's down two boards and nearly half a block per game from last season, according to basketball-reference.com.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but he looks a touch unsettled with the ball in his hands. New coach Alvin Gentry has so much planned for Davis (most of which will look much nicer with Tyreke Evans back and Jrue Holiday playing a full complement of minutes,) but it often takes time for young players to feel comfortable in new schemes.
Blake Griffin, who's $900 cheaper than Davis, has been filling up the stat sheet (albeit just for two games) in an offense he is quite familiar with. He should continue his hot start against a Sacramento team that ranks, per basketball-reference.com, second in the league in pace and 20th in defensive rating.

You could make a strong case for several point guards tonight. John Wall is a terror on both ends of the floor. Damian Lillard, I mentioned in my last column, has a legitimate shot to lead the league in field goal attempts and usage rate. Chris Paul should cruise to 12 assists in an up and down game in the Staples Center. Even C.J. McCollum, as we've seen already, can fill up the scorecard. In fact, it might not be a bad night to throw out a three point guard lineup.
But I've opted for Steph Curry and Brandon Knight. Per statmuse.com, Curry scored 56.1 fantasy points per game in his past five bouts with the Pellies. Jrue Holiday, Ish Smith and Nate Robinson have no shot against the reigning MVP.
Brandon Knight will be checked by either McCollum or Dame Lillard all night. If he's assertive, he'll far exceed value against two guys with a tendency to get picked on by quality guards.
Cheap Centers for the Win!!!

Festus Ezeli and Willie Cauley-Stein cost $6,100 together and should play 55 minutes of floor time combined. They both play with superior passing point guards on teams the love to run. They both are capable of switching on defense and blocking shots and clearing rebounds. If you're in a pinch and need to save on bigs, look to the two northern California starters.
