Paul George Donates $10,000 to Help Family Buy Wheelchair-Accessible Van

Kyle NewportMay 5, 2015

After hearing one of his biggest fans needed help, Indiana Pacers star Paul George stepped up in a big way.

The family of 11-year-old Daisy Esterline, who has cerebral palsy, had been trying to raise money to buy a wheelchair-accessible van. The family had set up a GoFundMe page with the goal of raising $12,000.

Howard Esterline sent George—who had previously met Daisy—a tweet this past weekend to ask him for some help.
