LeBron 11's NBA2K14 Edition Preorder Access Code Made Available in Game

Gamers across the world now have one more reason to envy their next-generation, console-owning friends. 

According to Brandon Richard of SoleCollector.com, NBA 2K14 players on the newly released Playstation 4 or Xbox One can be the first to preorder a game-exclusive, limited-edition version of LeBron James' new shoes, the LeBron 11's by advancing in the game's player career mode.

As you can tell by Nike.com's mysterious preorder page, the company has yet to release the design or color scheme for the shoe.

It takes much more than just buying the game, however, to get the much-anticipated access code to preorder the special edition LeBron 11's. Per Richard, gamers have to create a "MyPLAYER" in the game, complete 60 games and gain an elite player rank.

At that point, owners will be directed to "accept Nike Endorsement Path and be one of the first fans to create a Signature Shoe in the Innovation Kitchen," per Richard, and then go on to become a "Nike superstar." If gamers get that far, they will be rewarded as James will pop up on the screen and extend his congratulations for winning the access code, per Richard.

The kicks will set you back $220, but don't bother putting it on a Christmas list unless if you're willing to wait until spring. The shoe won't be released until March 2014.
