Spurs vs. Heat Game 6 Video: Watch Ray Allen Force OT With Game-Tying 3

Maxwell OgdenJun 8, 2018

Just when we thought it was over, Ray Allen reminded us why he's going to the Hall of Fame.

With the San Antonio Spurs leading 95-92 and just 5.2 seconds remaining in regulation, Miami had one last shot to tie it up. After LeBron James missed his attempt at a three-ball, Chris Bosh picked up a huge rebound and found Allen in the corner.

Rising over the extended arms of Tony Parker, Allen did what he does best—he hit a clutch three-pointer.

After Tony Parker failed to hit a game-winner on the other end at the buzzer, the Heat and Spurs proceeded to go to overtime, where the Heat would eventually claim the 103-100 victory to force Game 7.

While we can talk about what transpired during the first 47 minutes and 54.8 seconds, we all know that all that matters is Allen did it again.

That game-tying 3-pointer was the first 3-pointer of the game for Ray Allen.

We're naive to have expected anything less.

Allen, a former NBA champion with the Boston Celtics, knows what it means to hit big-time three-pointers. Not only is he the all-time leader in career three-point field goals, but he also holds that same mark during the NBA playoffs.

Just another day in the life of a legend.
