Pistons' Jose Calderon Still Very Comfortable Walking to Raptors Locker Room

Gabe ZaldivarPop Culture Lead WriterApril 2, 2013

Someone please help the very confused and adorably befuddled Jose Calderon

The Detroit Pistons were in Toronto Monday night, making it something of a homecoming for the former Raptors player, Calderon.

It being April Fool's, we can understand how one might be far more susceptible to some random tomfoolery. Still, it's a little absurd to play a trick on yourself.

Thanks to a video spotted by SportsGrid, that is essentially what we find happened to the Pistons guard.

As Calderon departs to the locker rooms, he makes his way to the Raptors side, something he must have been far more comfortable doing considering he played seven-plus seasons there before being dealt to Detroit.

It suddenly dawns on the 31-year-old Spaniard that he was well on his way towards the wrong locker room. We are just a tad bit upset that he didn't make it the entire way and sit down for one last halftime pep talk next to his former colleagues.

Instead, he realizes his mistake just in time to smile awkwardly to the camera with the understanding that this video would indeed hit the Internet in due time.

Fortunately, the Pistons beat the Raptors, 108-98, with the help of Calderon, who chimed in with 19 points.

Now, if we could just get a tour guide for the guy next time he is in Toronto.

Hit me up on Twitter for more NBA nonsense.
