Yes. Just, like, so much yes.
Metta World Peace will feature in a Lifetime movie (h/t Deadspin) entitled The Eleventh Victim on Saturday. Now, thanks to this video clip, I am guaranteed to be sitting in my couch wearing a huge smile.
I suggest you do the same November 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
The movie is based on a book by Nancy Grace, who met the Lakers star when they both competed on Dancing with the Stars.
Now, the best thing to ever happen to pop culture, acting and words being spewed from mouths will take place shortly.
What's more, it stars Jennie "Hottie From My Youth" Garth. Are you kidding me, world? I know for a fact that I never did anything to deserve such riches.
As we reported back in June, World Peace will play the role of Garlan Fincher, a detective who works very closely with Atlanta Assistant District Attorney Hailey Dean, Garth's character.
While we await the present under the Christmas tree this weekend, we have an early gift in this short clip, and it's wonderful. Seriously, I want to snuggle with this particular TV moment the whole day while we watch other great TV moments on the couch together.
The best part is that it seems Garth's character has a bit of a pill problem that MWP's character has issues with.
It's just like Zach finding Jessie's sleeping pills from Saved by the Bell, only with acting that is both wooden and tremendously over the top.
The moment you have been waiting your whole life for takes place this weekend. That is not hyperbole or hype—it's fact.
