NBA Lockout Video: Watch Biggest Little Fan of NBA Hoops Throw Tantrum

Bill Simmons released a home movie of him as a kid this week. At least, that's what my initial thought was. It turns out this is a modern kid going though the throes of the NBA lockout like the rest of us. 

What we have here is a video uploaded by YouTube user bstern71. This is the only video that the man has uploaded and I am glad he waited to capture this gem. The YouTuber left a comment on the video that stated:

Hey there. I'm his dad (this is the 1st time I've posted a video on You Tube). It is indeed an authentic reaction. Walked in on it mid-tantrum after work a couple of weeks ago. He is truly obsessed with the NBA. Makes me print out random team rosters from random years so he can look at all of the players. Today in fact, he asked for the 2006 New Jersey Nets roster. He's going as Jerry West for Halloween.

What we have here is a basketball dork in the making. Welcome to the party little kid. You will soon be our leader...I have no doubt. 

The kid goes on how he is sick and tired of watching NBA Classic (same as me) and that he wants the return of real basketball, not the stuff from the '80s (same as me). 

Watching the video I had to ask if the little genius ripped the thoughts directly from my mind and embedded it in this here video. I am also sick and tired of the most boring part of the sports year. 

This is usually relegated to the summer when the only thing on is baseball. Now we don't even have that. We have hockey and constant dissection of Tim Tebow and those who are engaged in Tebowing. Enough. 

Do you know that I watched The Mummy this week...twice? I also watched The Karate Kid, Karate Kid III and The Breakfast Club when NBA games should have been on. At this rate I will have to watch The Next Karate Kid which, let's be honest, isn't even in the same canon. 

I bow to my new leader. Bring back the NBA.
