Charles Barkley Video: Watch Barkley Threaten Miami Heat Hecklers

There's a Charles Barkley video making the rounds of the sports world today, after The Round Mound of Sound went off on a heckler during his post-game show following Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday night. 

Barkley was giving the Miami Heat glowing praise for their defense in their 96-85 win over the Chicago Bulls, when a towel flew past his head on the screen.

Chuck managed to ignore the first towel and the crowd, who clearly wasn't paying attention to Barkley's comments, started to chant "Barkley sucks!" and threw another towel. 

This one hit Charles in the back of the head, causing the TNT analyst to turn around and threaten the person responsible. 

"Don't make me come down there," Sir Charles said, "If I have to come down there, it's gonna be hell to pay."

Kenny Smith quickly backed him up, saying both of them would go down to deal with the hecklers, before returning to their discussion of the Heat's defense. 

How big of a knucklehead do you have to be to pull a stunt like that on national television? I mean, we all know the Heat don't have any real fans (given their attendance in the regular season and the first quarter of playoff games), but who knew the ones who did show up would be this dumb? 

It's not like Sir Charles was bad-mouthing the Heat. In fact, he was saying how impressed he was by their defense.

So why start throwing things and chanting about how he sucks?

Now, I understand people hamming it up to get on camera behind the broadcast team; that's become a part of sports. But throwing things at them is just dumb. All you do is make yourself look like a moron and potentially piss off someone who's significantly larger than you are. 

It sure is nice to see Heat fans being so classy after a win. I can only wonder what they would have done if they'd lost.
