TMZ is reporting that Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest was pulled over driving an Indy-style car through the streets of Los Angeles today.
A perplexed police officer was thankful that Artest was wearing his helmet, but we're not exactly sure why the basketball player was driving a race car down a commercial street.
There is speculation over whether Artest even owns this car which had expired plates.
This was pretty wild, but let's take a look at some other stunts athletes have pulled in the past.

The Ultimate Catch is just plain pathetic.
Takeru Kobayashi could not enter this year's Nathan's hot dog eating championship, so what does he do?
He crashes the party...And gets arrested.
It's sad when one athlete makes this list twice. Not too long ago, the wide receiver from the Cincinnati Bengals was named "Chad Johnson," but then he changed it to "Chad Ochocinco."
And that's when we learned that Chad couldn't count in Spanish.
After becoming a spokesperson for Head and Shoulders hair products, Steelers safety Troy Polamalu decided that his famous locks were worth around one million dollars.
So he decided to insure his full head of hair.
