1. Miami wins 70 games.

Talent. Depth. Star power. Defense. Athleticism. Shooting. They have it all! This group can go down as the most talented team in NBA history.

When three of the league’s premier players decide to sacrifice money and “egos” for winning, it makes them dangerous. When two great, irreplaceable players in Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem leave millions on the table in their last chance at a major contract for winning, it makes them lethal. Throw in a bunch of veteran, ego-less (No, not you Allen Iverson) role players and you have the makings of a true dynasty.

Rings will be on their mind all the time.

When winning is the only priority the game becomes simple. They will challenge the 72-win Bulls of 1996 as the best team in the history of the NBA. The most difficult challenge for this team is not going to be the on-court performance. They will find a way to make it work. Their biggest obstacle is mental.

This team, all fifteen of them, is capable of achieving a measure of greatness unparalleled in NBA history.

2. LeBron James will not lead the Heat in scoring

He will lead the team in assists. Chris Bosh or Dwyane Wade will absolutely take the honor of scoring leader. James is going to be deployed into the Magic Johnson role of initiator. He can play the point because of his impeccable court awareness and passing ability. Don’t be shocked if he flirts with averaging a triple double this year.

3. Mike Miller leads the league in three-point shooting.

Miller has one of the cleanest, purest jump shots in the NBA. Throw him in a lineup with Wade and LeBron and he’s going to have easy pickings from deep. When Wade or James gets by the first line of defense, Miller’s man will be forced to help.

He is going to have games that will go down as some of the best shooting performances of all time. When you have an amazing shooter in a lineup like this, one in which he will get tons of open looks, the possibilities are endless.

4. The NBA goes into panic mode after Miami takes home their second championship.

When the rest of the league soon realizes that no team in the NBA can compete with Miami (even L.A.), there is going to be a major realignment over the next few years.

Other star players are going to want to join forces and try to take out the beasts of the east, the “Run DLC”, the “Make a Ring Foundation." The league is going to have a few great, star-studded teams with a bunch of garbage below them.

5. Pat Riley is done coaching the Miami Heat .

Everyone thinks Pat “The Architect” Riley is going to step back into the role of coach and send Erik Spoelstra packing. It’s not going to happen. When Spoelstra wins and leads this team into dynasty land, you simply can’t get rid of him. The only way Riley comes down is if they don’t win, and that is not going to happen. Riley’s moves this offseason just made Spoelstra one of the best coaches in NBA history. Congrats Erik.
