What is Kahn thinking?!?

On the first full-day of the "free agency frenzy", the Minnesota Timberwolves signed Darko Milicic to a 4 year deal worth 20 million dollars.

I'm all in favor of chances whether they're 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd. However, Darko has had way too many chances. Being drafted to 2nd overall to the Pistons in the same year as Melo and Wade, everyone thought of how amazing the Pistons could be with this kid. They, including me thought wrong, way wrong.

He bounced around the league like ball on the court after failing miserably at Detroit. Yet, we sign the kid that averages 8.5 PPG to a deal of $20 million. That's like paying $50 for a hot-dog.

What are the Wolves going to do now?

The Wolves are most likely still looking to trade Al Jefferson. However, who knows these days? Recent rumors of Rudy Gay coming to Minnesota have been dashed with his $80 million dollar deal in Memphis

The idea of David Lee coming to the Wolves is ludicrous; already having Kevin Love, Al Jefferson, Darko Milicic, and the other scrubs from last year.

The only bright note from today was the 3 year, $13 million dollar deal for a true international-champ in Nikola Pekovic from Montenegro. Many say he would've been a top 10 pick in this past year's draft. However, he is also a post.

What the Wolves should do?

Honestly, this is a tough one. The Wolves should look at offering Al Jefferson in a sign-and-trade with a team. I really am intrigued with going after a guy like John Salmons. Even though its very likely he will resign with the newly-resurrected Bucks

I love David Lee. However, I can't support signing him when we are loaded at the post position. That is the resign why the Wolves should trade Jefferson.
