Car Involved in Derek Fisher's DUI Crash Reportedly Registered to Matt Barnes
The vehicle former NBA player and coach Derek Fisher wrecked early Sunday morning as part of a suspected DUI was reportedly registered to Golden State Warriors forward Matt Barnes, TMZ Sports revealed Thursday.
According to TMZ Sports, Fisher is dating Barnes' ex-wife Gloria Govan, and Barnes reportedly gave Govan the 2015 Cadillac Escalade "for the kids."
Per the Los Angeles Daily News, Fisher flipped the SUV after hitting a guardrail. Fisher was then arrested on suspicion of DUI after police learned he had been drinking.
Both Fisher and Govan were uninjured in the accident.
In October 2015, it was reported that Barnes and Fisher were in an altercation over Fisher dating his ex-wife, according to TMZ Sports.
Fisher and Barnes were teammates with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2010-11 season and for part of 2011-12.
