Golden State Warriors vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction
Kevin Durant scored 33 points, Klay Thompson added 29 and the Golden State Warriors held off the Milwaukee Bucks, 124-121, at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday night.
The Warriors led by 14 points with 7:31 to play, but the Bucks ripped off an 18-6 run to cut the deficit to two with 2:32 remaining.
Neither team would score after that until Thompson made two free throws to ice the game with eight seconds left.
Milwaukee had a chance to tie or take the lead with 10 seconds to go, but Draymond Green poked away an inbounds pass. Thompson was then fouled and hit his two foul shots.
Durant shot 10-of-17 from the floor, making five three-pointers, and went 8-of-11 from the free-throw line.
Thompson scored 18 of his 29 points in the third quarter and shot 9-of-17 overall. He, too, made five triples, all of them coming in the second half.
Stephen Curry struggled mightily, missing on 10 of his 11 long-range attempts, but Durant and Thompson picked him up.
Golden State shot 44.2 percent as a team.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 30 points, making 10 of his 23 field-goal tries and going 9-of-11 from the charity stripe.
Jabari Parker added 28 points off an 11-of-18 clip.
Milwaukee shot 51.7 percent overall.
The Warriors, who improved to 11-2 with the victory, will stay on the road to take on the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.
Meanwhile, the Bucks, who dropped to 5-7, will host the Orlando Magic that same evening.
