Warriors Conveniently Leave Out Day No. 31 in Countdown to Regular Season

The countdown to the NBA regular season is on, but for Golden State Warriors fans who were trying to keep track of the number of days until tipoff, Saturday was a tad awkward.

Why was it uncomfortable for those in the Bay Area? Because it marked 31 days until Golden State played its first game of the season—its first game since it lost Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, a series in which it held a 3-1 lead.

It appears the Warriors' Twitter account took precautionary measures to avoid getting trolled:

Notice anything odd? Like the fact day No. 31 was left out? This may be just a coincidence, but it seems far more likely that it was done to avoid getting spammed with "3-1" comments. Those mentions would have been brutal.
