- In a piece for the Players' Tribune, Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce announced that he'll return to the NBA for one more season.
- According to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, Miami Heat president Pat Riley said the following regarding star forward Chris Bosh: "We are not working toward his return."
- Whether this comes up at media day is up to the reporters in attendance in New York, but it's worth noting that the issue at the heart of Derrick Rose's civil trial is also under criminal investigation.
