Former No. 1 Pick Anthony Bennett Throws Down Poster Dunk in International Game
Thomas DuffyJun 4, 2018
Don't count Anthony Bennett out just yet.
After flopping as the Cleveland Cavaliers’ No. 1 pick in 2013 and struggling with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors, the 23-year-old free agent is looking to revitalize his career.
On June 9, Bennett’s trainer, Andrew Moore, told SNY’s Adam Zagoria that his client is in “tremendous shape.”
Italy’s Marco Cusin likely agrees.
During an international exhibition contest on Sunday, Bennett made Canada proud with a vicious one-handed poster over Cusin, who was dropped to the floor as the former lottery pick stood over him.
Canada emerged victorious in overtime, 74-71.
