Mark Cuban Provides Excuse Note for Mavs Fans to Give to Bosses for Game 3

Like last year, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has provided an excuse note so fans can skip out on work early on Thursday and attend Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"Mavericks Fans For Life" deserve an early dismissal.

Unless you are an Oklahoma City fan, you have to love the line that "They may take Game 1, they may dance pregame, but they'll never take our series!" It's a not-so-subtle shot at the Thunder, which most sports fans can appreciate.

The 2015 get-out-of-work note was solid, but this year's version—originally created and posted by "Late Notes" founder Seth King for Cuban—has a more thoughtful feel to it, given that it is completely handwritten. Any boss in the Dallas area who receives one of these notes should be more than happy to oblige Cuban's request and let their employee(s) leave early.
