Ah, life as an NBA journeyman.
Before Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, the Oklahoma City Thunder traded veteran forward Steve Novak to the Denver Nuggets, who bought out his contract, per ESPN.com's Marc Stein:
ESPN sources say Nuggets have agreed to work with newly acquired Steve Novak on a contract buyout to keep him playoff eligible for next team— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) February 18, 2016
His next uniform will be the three-point shooter’s ninth in 10 years.
Novak later posted a picture of his young son dunking on a New York Knicks hoop while wearing an OKC jersey and Utah Jazz shorts.
Could the little fella be in for some Miami Heat gear next?
Next we have to get him a Dwade Miami Heat basketball. https://t.co/kzSPB0Re21— DWade (@DwyaneWade) February 18, 2016
