'NBA 2K' Spokesperson Says Blake Griffin's Hands Rating Will Drop After Injury

Kyle NewportJan 28, 2016

Not only did Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin's temper have severe ramifications for both him and his team, but it also cost him some precious rating points in NBA 2K16.

The team recently announced that Griffin is expected to miss four to six weeks with a broken right hand after throwing a punch in Toronto last week. The high-flying Clipper also owned up to the incident with a statement on Twitter.

For those who were wondering if this hand injury would affect Griffin's 2K rating, Ronnie 2K hit Twitter with this tweet:

Having some fun, he provided "Blake's reaction" to the news:

It was bad enough that Griffin's punch cost him time on the court. Now, it has even affected the virtual version of himself. Just a tough injury.

Note: The original version of the article was written under the impression that the drop in rating was a joke.
