McLemore Active vs. Nuggets

Friday, Feb. 19

The Kings announced McLemore will start against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

McLemore Enjoying Breakout Season For Kings

McLemore has been one of the NBA's most durable players since he entered the league three years ago. The former first-round pick appeared in all 82 games each of his first two seasons and had kept the streak going this season before missing Sacramento's Feb. 1 game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Kings need to take precautions with their 22-year-old star, who is in the midst of a breakout season. McLemore is shooting a career-high 45.1 percent from the field, including 37.2 percent from three-point range. His scoring average is down from last season, but he's become a more efficient offensive weapon for the Kings.
