Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction
Klay Thompson scored 38 points, Draymond Green posted a triple-double with 11 points, 16 assists and 11 rebounds and the short-handed Golden State Warriors topped the Houston Rockets, 114-110, at the Toyota Center on New Year's Eve.
The Warriors were without Stephen Curry, Harrison Barnes, Festus Ezeli and Leandro Barbosa and were coming off a blowout loss against the Dallas Mavericks the night before.
Still, Golden State's offense was percolating out of the gate, with the Dubs scoring 33 points in the first quarter.

Thanks to a plethora of backdoor cuts, the Warriors ended up scoring 61 points by halftime and took a two-point lead into the locker room.
The Rockets started the second half strong and led for a good portion of the third period, but sloppy offensive possessions and shoddy defense ultimately did them in.
Golden State would take an eight-point lead into the fourth quarter and would go up by as many as 12 over the final 12 minutes.
A late flurry from Houston made things interesting, but the Warriors used an 8-0 run late in the period to close the game out.
James Harden led the Rockets with 30 points and Dwight Howard added 21 points and 13 rebounds.
Golden State assisted on 35 of its 43 made buckets and shot 51.2 percent from the floor.
Houston tallied only 21 assists and shot the ball at a 46.2 percent clip.
Next up for the Warriors is a home meeting with the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Rockets will head to San Antonio to take on the Spurs, also on Saturday.
