Curry Breaks Own Record for 3-Pointers in a Single Month
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry made 77 three-point shots during the month of November, breaking his own record of 75 three-pointers in a single calendar month (March 2015), per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).
The runaway MVP favorite has been better than ever in the wake of his first championship, averaging 31.6 points, 6.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 steals as his Warriors have jumped out to a record-setting 19-0 start.
Curry has made 44.5 percent of his three-point attempts on the season and connected on 43.8 percent in November, combining efficiency and volume in a way no other player can.

He was even more efficient when he first set the single-month record back in March, connecting on a remarkable 51.7 percent of his three-point tries.
However, he played 18 games in that one month alone, compared to just 16 games in November.
It's only a matter of time before Curry once again breaks his own record, as has been the case for many of the NBA's key marks involving three-pointers made and attempted.
The 27-year-old superstar is already responsible for three of the top five single-season marks for three-pointers made, including the top two seasons.
He first set a record with 272 three-pointers in 2012-13, then broke his own mark by connecting on 286 last season.
With 82 three-pointers made through the first 19 games of the current season, Curry is on pace to finish with 405, suggesting the only thing capable of stopping him from setting a new record is a long-term injury.
