Athletes Tweet Disappointment at Meek Mill's Weak Response to Drake Diss
The rap feud between Drake and Meek Mill took another turn Thursday night. After back-to-back shots from Drizzy, the Philadelphia-based MC released his own diss, "Wanna Know."
It didn't go over well among many of today's top athletes.
Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant showed his support by referencing Drake's "Charged Up":
New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. followed suit by lip-syncing with "Back to Back," a diss track recently put out by Drake (warning: NSFW language):
The Golden State Warriors' Harrison Barnes and the Boston Celtics' Isaiah Thomas weren't impressed either:
"Dang that was disappointing smh
— Isaiah Thomas (@Isaiah_Thomas) July 31, 2015"
Le'Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers went right for the jugular and said Meek's girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, should've written his diss for him:
Some of the reviews weren't so harsh, such as this one from OKC's Anthony Morrow:
In Drake's most recent diss, "Back to Back," he drops a Michael Jordan line: "Back to back like I'm Jordan, '96, '97."
MJ also took home the title in 1998. Just saying—this thing might be far from over.
