Jordan Clarkson's Game-Winner Upsets Lakers Fans Hoping for Better Lottery Pick

Most Los Angeles Lakers fans are already looking ahead to next season, but the players are taking it one game at a time, and that's causing some friction.

Currently, the Lakers have a top-five protected first-round pick for this upcoming NBA draft. However, if they keep winning games, the pick could end up going to the Philadelphia 76ers.

As luck would have it, the Lakers were playing the 76ers on Monday night when Jordan Clarkson hit a game-winning shot, giving them the 113-111 win.

Lakers fans were not happy.

With a 20-53 record, the Lakers currently have the fourth-worst winning percentage in the league, but a few more wins could keep them from finding their next star this offseason.
