Detroit Pistons Guard Reggie Jackson Wears Electronic Hunting Gloves on Bench
Reggie Jackson of the Detroit Pistons plays point guard—the position that requires arguably the most dexterity of the fingers. Unfortunately, Jackson deals with cold hands during games, so he came up with a solution: heated hunting gloves.
Jackson told Terry Foster of The Detroit News (h/t CBSSports.com's Ananth Pandian): "I found out in OKC I had problems with my hands getting extremely cold once I started running. I started losing feelings in my extremities."
With some help from Thunder trainer Joe Sharpe, he found that the electronic hunting gloves, priced at $210, can keep his hands from "freezing" during games.
A message-board user on NBA Media Ventures' Detroit Pistons forum posted a picture of Jackson rocking the gloves on the bench. It's quite a look.
Jackson is the second player this season who has gained attention for his handwear on the bench.

Perhaps it will catch on.
