Zeller Out vs. Jazz

Thursday, March 12

Stephanie Ready of the Charlotte Hornets reported that Zeller will miss Monday's game vs. Utah. It will be the third straight game Zeller will have missed due to the injury.

On March 9, the Hornets' official Twitter account reported on Zeller's injury, saying he was diagnosed with a sprained shoulder.

The loss of Zeller would be a tough one for the Hornets if he were forced to miss significant time. He's averaging 7.9 points and 5.9 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game and gives the team an important presence on the block next to Al Jefferson

Charlotte is currently battling for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, so it needs all hands on deck down the stretch. The hope will be that Zeller's injury is nothing more than a very temporary setback.
