Houston Rockets vs. Atlanta Hawks: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Matthew SchmidtMar 3, 2015

Jeff Teague scored 25 points, Paul Millsap had 16 points and 14 rebounds and the Atlanta Hawks rallied from a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit to top the Houston Rockets, 104-96, at Philips Arena Tuesday night, notching their fifth straight win.

The Rockets were without James Harden, who served his one-game suspension for kicking LeBron James below the belt during Sunday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It didn't seem to matter much early, as Houston built an 18-point lead in the first half. The Hawks could not buy a bucket, and the Rockets were getting great production from the likes of Jason Terry, Terrence Jones and Josh Smith.

Houston took a 59-45 lead into halftime.

Atlanta came out of the gates quickly in the second half and got to within four, but Houston responded, going up 15 points on back-to-back three-pointers by Smith and Pablo Prigioni early in the fourth period.

That's when the Hawks took over.

Atlanta got huge stops defensively and started making threes, including a go-ahead triple by Teague to put the Hawks up 91-90 late.

The two teams would then trade treys back and forth, tying the game at 96. That was the last time the game was tied, as the Hawks ended the contest on an 8-0 run by making all of their free throws down the stretch.

Terry led Houston with 21 points. Jones added 18.

The loss also snapped a five-game winning streak for the Rockets.

Houston will now head back home to host the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, Atlanta will get a few days rest before an Eastern Conference showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers at Philips Arena Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
