
Kris Humphries Injury: Updates on Wizards Forward's Groin and Return
Washington Wizards forward Kris Humphries did not return to a Feb. 25 game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after suffering a strained left groin midway through the second quarter. After 16 games missed, he returned on April 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Humphries Returns vs. 76ers
Wednesday, April 1
Humphries returned to the Wizards tonight, scoring six points and grabbing one rebound in 15 minutes of action as the Wiz defeated the 76ers, 106-93.
On March 31, the Wizards confirmed that Humphries went through practice and expected to play on Wednesday.
The team first announced Humphries' injury on Feb. 25:
Humphries, 30, left the game with five minutes and 48 seconds remaining in the first half and did not return to the court after halftime. He scored four points and grabbed two rebounds in 12 minutes.
Acquired via sign-and-trade this offseason, Humphries has largely been excellent off the bench. He came into the game averaging 8.2 points and 6.8 rebounds while appearing in all but two games.
