The day is always a little brighter and a bit more wonderful with Victor Oladipo singing.
Yahoo! Sports' Dan Devine spotted a video floating around the Internets featuring Orlando Magic rookie Oladipo crooning to the masses.
The video was uploaded to YouTube by Shelby Gogreve, who happens to be the other half of this duet singing Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" at the 2013 Spirit of Indiana Showcase.
While we are already well aware that Oladipo has pipes, we take any opportunity to remind those who may have forgotten. Essentially, it's like hearing any Withers' song on the radio. You don't scoff and proclaim you've heard it. No, you turn that up and carry on the rest of the day with a smile.
For those who missed it, Oladipo fancies himself something of a singer. Back in June, For the Win compiled two of the better videos out that featured the former Indiana guard singing.
There were the impromptu notes showcased on draft night when he was selected second overall by the Orlando Magic, and there was his performance of Usher's "U Got it Bad" at the Spirit of Indiana Showcase in 2011, a tune he also performed at Hoops Hysteria.
As you can see, he is quite the showman:
It's rather early in his NBA career, just four games into what Magic fans are hoping is a prolific tenure in the league.
So far he is averaging 13.8 points, four assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. We think the NBA has the perfect performer for the All-Star halftime show.
If draining buckets and running the floor doesn't work out, he can always tour the country performing cover songs, because he is pretty darn good at it.
This concludes our "Oladipo can lift spirits one note at a time" coverage.
