Chicago Bulls: Could Kevin Love End Up in the Windy City?
Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls have had a rough season, and barring some sort of insane, unheard of miracle, they will be using a lottery pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.
But how did it come to this when they have had consistent playoff teams for the past few years and were supposed to make a deep playoff run this year.

Buzz: Giannis Trade Could Be 3-Teamer ๐ฎ
It all started with a man by the name of Kobe Bryant.ย He was supposed to come to Chicago.ย He was going to be the savior and the Bulls were going to win the Championship.
That didn't happen.ย Mixed with the contract dramas of Ben Gordon and Luol Deng, the Bulls had a ton of distractions at the beginning of the season.ย (Kind of makes last years headband-gate not seem so bad)
The entire season has been one where nobody tried.ย The biggest surprise was an average pick in Joakim Noah.ย That's right, he was the best thing to happen to Chicago this year.ย (That statement gives me nightmares)
So if the season were to end today, and the Draft Lottery happened where all the teams had the draft pick of exactly where they finished, the Bulls would have the 9th pick of the draft.
What could they do with that pick?
The Kevin Love Factor
Kevin Love has been a huge part of the UCLA Bruins team that went to the Final 4 this season. (Before losing tonight to Memphis earlier tonight)
Most mock drafts that I have seen have him going either to the Bulls, or somewhere near there.
I'm not sure what I think of this pick, and I have a weird feeling that he is going to be the Reggie Bush of the NBA.
He's undersized (6-9) and uses his brute strength to overpower the bigger centers.
Overall, he will probably be a nice player, but at power forward at best, he is to short to make it as a center in the NBA.
Other Possible Players
Blake Griffin is another inside player who could fall into Chicago's lap.ย He is slightly taller than Love but has all the same skills.ย He is also more used to playing PF so it wouldn't be as much of a change when we would make Love move there.
DeAndre Jordan doesn't have the intangible skills that Griffin and Love posses, but he has a lot more size, and hits the 7ft mark that centers should hit.ย He is still a good player, but he might not warrant the 9th pick in the draft.ย (Then again, neither did Noah)
Well, those are my 2 cents.ย Feel free to leave yours below in the comment section.
