LeBron James Sends Out 'Save the Date' Cards for September Wedding

LeBron James would kindly like you to save the date. Well, not all of you. This goes out to the select few who are his close friends and those who may not be celebrating Yom Kippur.

TMZ caught a glimpse of the "Save the Date" cards going out to all King James' buddies, giving us a sense of what's in store for LeBron and his fiancee, Savannah Brinson.

We've obtained a copy of King James' "Save The Date" ... which instructs his friends to block out Friday Sept. 13 through Sunday Sept. 15 for the NBA star's destination wedding to fiancee Savannah Brinson in exotic San Diego, CA.

The "Save the Date" even came with a fun caricature of Bron, Savannah and their 2 children ... each dressed in their finest wedding outfits. Cute.

The report goes on to remind us that those specific dates coincide with the start of Yom Kippur, a Jewish holy day which mandates fasting and prayer.

I'm sure James could have combed the calendar for the one date that would have been perfect for each and every person he might invite, but frankly, when and where his wedding is taking place is entirely up to him and his fiancee.

With that in mind, let's not make too big a deal over this conflict.

As for the couple who are exchanging vows in the proud city of Sea World and Ron Burgundy, they have been together since high school and have two children together: LeBron Jr., 8, and Bryce, 5 (via Yahoo! Sports).

Any mention of his two kids mandates that I plug one of the best images from this week, where LeBron's offspring poses with pure Kid 'N Play swag (via James' tweet).

We can assume the people getting the "Save the Date" will make this one of the biggest spectacles of the year.

For some reason, I still haven't got one. What gives, LeBron?
