Prior to Friday night's showdown with the Memphis Grizzlies in South Beach, the Miami Heat star gave basketball fans around the globe yet another reason to hassle him about not taking part in the annual Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star weekend.
In pregame warm-ups, LeBron decided he would throw the ball over his shoulder from behind his back, off the backboard and then effortlessly rise above the rim to slam it down.
The ridiculous display of athleticism even caught the eye of NBA legend and ESPN analyst Magic Johnson (via Jalen Rose):

I'm not sure the average NBA fan can afford $1 million, but I'm betting that most would support Magic's investment in this case.
This definitely isn't the last insane pregame dunk we'll see from LeBron this season. The only question is how many dunks he has in his arsenal.
Will he bring out props?
Who knows, but regardless of how many more dunks are in LeBron's future, fans would be wise to sit back and enjoy this greatness while it lasts.
Right now, it seems that things couldn't get any better for the defending NBA champion Miami Heat and their do-it-all superstar. Not only has Miami won 12 straight games, but LeBron is also in the midst of a career season, averaging 27.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game on 57 percent shooting from the field.
