There are so many NBA rumors out there about some big-name stars, so we'll use this space to give you the latest on Josh Smith, Kevin Garnett and others on the trading block.

What's the latest on these stars?

Josh Smith

Many think that the Atlanta Hawks will look to trade Josh Smith to get something of value if he departs in free agency at the end of the season.

However, according to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Hawks won't trade Smith unless they get another star in return:

Unless there's a bona fide star player to be had in exchange, indications persist that the Hawks don't want to do anything that cuts into the considerable cap-space haul they're headed for in July. Because they're going to be right alongside the Dallas Mavericks, sources say, in trying to steal Howard from the Lakers.

 

That won't preclude the Hawks from looking, though. Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld reports that three teams are really interested in Smith:

 

Whether or not a deal gets done is still up in the air, but those three teams would need to give up a significant amount to land the star.

 

Kevin Garnett

Could the Clippers acquire Kevin Garnett? They've already made an offer, according to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News:

Garnett would be a huge coup for the Clippers, who would love his interior defense and veteran leadership as they look to make a Finals run.

The Celtics would benefit from acquiring Eric Bledsoe, who is averaging nine points a game in 20 minutes of action.

Bledsoe would be a long-term building block for Boston, who might be looking to rebuild after losing Rajon Rondo to injury.

Of course, Kevin Garnett would need to approve a trade to the Clippers, as he has a no-trade clause. 

 

J.J. Redick

J.J. Redick is emerging as one of the hottest names on the trading block.

The guard is averaging 15.3 points per game, and is shooting almost 40 percent from three.

Marc Stein reports that Redick is almost guaranteed to be traded:

The Orlando sharpshooter is the player, with Gay off the board, most teams cite when asked to name a player who will definitely be dealt between now and the deadline.

One team that could be interested is the Boston Celtics:

The sharpshooter, wherever he lands, will help teams looking for perimeter shooting. 

 

Greg Oden

Remember him? In fact, it seems like there may be a few teams interested in signing the former No.1 overall pick.

One of those teams is the Boston Celtics:

In addition, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat are interested, according to USA Today. 

It's not clear what any team would get from Oden. He's played in only 82 games since being drafted in 2007. 

When healthy, Oden has shown promise. The 25-year-old has averaged 9.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 22 minutes a game. 

It might be worth kicking the tires on Oden, but he's a big unknown.
