Fan Nails Half-Court Hook Shot for $75,000, Gets Tackled by LeBron James
What were this fan's chances of sinking a half-court shot for $75,000?
Only slightly worse than the Detroit Pistons' odds of beating the Miami Heat afterward.
Dude just hit a halfcourt shot for $75,000. And he was rewarded with LeBron James tackling him at halfcourt. Unreal.

It wasn't just that the shot went in. It's that it looked like the kind of shot that never had a prayer—even more so than your typical half-court heave.
I've seen people hit halfcourt shots for big money before, but this guy just hit a HOOK SHOT from halfcourt for 75K.

That was hysterical. Guy just hurled it sideways with one hand like he was playing jai alai. Wade trying to re-enact it.

Said guy walked off the court with a pretty nice haul, along with the priceless thrill of having LeBron James share in his disbelief.
Just talked to the fan who won the 75K. Name is Michael Drysch, 50, of McHenry, Ill. Won a LeBron-sponsored sweepstakes to enter contest

Since the fan who hit the halfcourt shot for the 75K won in a LeBron sponsored contest, that's why LeBron so happy and tackled him with joy
— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) January 26, 2013
It was fantastic watching a superstar like LeBron react to the shot just like a normal fan would have.
LeBron said it was just instinct that resulted in him tackling the fan who made the 75K shot.sulia.com/my_thoughts/fe…

Congratulations to Mr. Drysch, and nice form. Apparently the fans in Miami are almost as clutch as the Heat themselves. Even this club's best would need some luck to sink this shot, though.
Or would they?
LeBron James on halfcourt hook shot fan made for 75K. Can he do it? “Oh yeah. I got that… Give me enough tries. I’ll make that.’
