Lob City Returns as Clippers' Chris Paul Connects with DeAndre Jordan

Fans, please don't fret or worry. The Clippers still remember how to slam dunk to the amazement of the home crowd. 

Lob City has returned just in time for the NBA season. 

And the Golden State Warriors are doing their best to provide the necessary lapse in defense for such sizzling highlights. 

Glad to see we pick up right where we left off. 

The play came in the first quarter of a Monday night preseason game the Clippers eventually won, 88-71, with two of Jordan's 18 points coming with this alley-oop dunk. 

Chris Paul drives down the lane and makes a sneaky pass to one of his favorite receivers who just dominates the rim to the amusement of fans. 

The season can't come quick enough, with baseball waning into the World Series, ripping one major sport off our TV docket. 

As the NHL lockout continues, there has never been a more pertinent time to see some pristine passes to a flashy big man who really knows how to throw it down. 

The only mind-boggling part of the video is Blake Griffin was left in the background, left to watch Jordan take Lob City into the season. How sad. 

No need to worry about that either, because something tells me Griffin will find his way to the basket a few times this season with some scintillating slams. 

And we can't wait.
