Chris Kaman looks the part. Now the remaining question is what part that might be.

The NBA journeyman has landed in Dallas with the Mavericks, and he seems to be enjoying his new locale.

Big Lead Sports spotted some pictures Kaman posted that fit snugly between brilliance and sheer magnificence.

Here is a picture taken from Chris Kaman's TwitPic feed. The caption reads, "Hot dang, they fit great y'all!!!!"

When someone embraces the term "hot dang," you know there's trouble. The only person happier to see this picture than I am is Pau Gasol, who was previously the goofiest guy in the NBA.

That crown is now being worn by Kaman, who is donning the ill-advised cowboy-boots-and-shorts look for the 2012 summer.

He wasn't done.

Here he is with his new best friend, the flag of Texas.

The Texas flag never looked so ashamed, hanging lifelessly from the biggest Screech we have ever seen.

Kaman was careful to explain what started all this. Here is a close-up of the one thing you apparently must buy when you move to Texas, size-17 cowboy boots

Something tells me Kaman is with the Mavericks to stay. If he is traded, there may be a great deal of kicking and screaming.

I just don't think you will ever be able to take the Dallas out of Chris Kaman.
