Kevin Durant Sparks Dating Rumors with Ex-Destiny's Child Star Letoya Luckett

Kevin Durant has been spotted getting quite cozy with an original member of Destiny's Child. 

Black Sports Online brings us up to speed on the hot rumor of the moment, placing one of the best basketball players in the world with Letoya Luckett. 

The basis for the assertion are a couple dinners together and some Instagram affection being shared. As even Black Sports Online's Robert Littal states, the two aren't exactly scorching the earth with their passion for one another. 

They may be in that cute little courting phase. 

Here is a picture snapped off of the two enjoying a meal in Las Vegas. Why they opted to go for a non-buffett dinner is beyond me. 

Littal also spotted the two liking one another's Instagram photos, apparently an act of flirting. I guess when a good amount of those photos feature solo shots, it makes sense. 

Durant is currently training with Team USA ahead of the Summer Olympics. There is no telling if there will be a planned vacation for Luckett to the London area anytime soon. 

Many will recognize her as one of the original members of Destiny's Child, a group she grabbed two Grammy Awards with. A subsequent dust-up would see her leave the group lead by star Beyonce Knowles, but it wouldn't be a total loss. 

Luckett has gone on to release a couple successful solo albums, including Lady Love, which released to No. 1 status in 2009 on the U.S. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, via Billboard. 

She now keeps rather superb company with an NBA player who is no less than the future of the league.
