Call Me Maybe Video: Watch Call Him KD Parody and Ruin a Perfectly Good Day

Carly Rae Jepsen is killing music one parody offspring at a time. The latest is an ode to Kevin Durant that gets placed in the suck barrel simply for it's relationship to that mind-numbing song "Call Me Maybe."

Oklahoma City Thunder fans have come together to ruin my day. Well, I am sure it was to band around the team and promote superhuman Kevin Durant, but I see it differently. 

Here is the latest from a group of fans who brought you such hits as "Beard Like Harden," a parody I rather like. 

You know why? It's because it doesn't sound like every other parody, which are seemingly coming out every five minutes right now. You want to impress me? Make something that sounds nothing like "Call Me Maybe."

I now have a Pavlovian reflex that causes me to walk into oncoming traffic at the mere opening bars to the song. God forbid I start humming the damn thing in the shower, because then I try to drink enough shower water to drown myself from anger of my stupidity. 

I have had it with these parodies. Please stop, America. You are hurting the planet far more than you know. 

This song, called "Call Him KD," is fitting for Oklahoma City Thunder fans, because it's extremely polite, to the point of being awesomely polite or (expletive deleted) polite. 

This parody may be good. I don't know, because like movies with Adam Sandler in them, it is relegated to the trash bin by sheer relationship to annoying song. 

I just...I just don't know what to do. I have begged and pleaded, yet the tune lives on and is remade, only to garner more attention. 

If you are reading this, I fear it's too late. Somewhere, someone is recording another damned parody of this song.
