Shaquille O'Neal is still getting his TV legs.
The man who had no problem dominating the low post for years just made a boo-boo that the world is now enjoying. Shaq let a four-letter word for doodoo fly on Thursday night's presentation for Inside the NBA on TNT.
This is by far the loosest set on sports commentary, but that doesn't mean they let expletives fly. The crew now consists of Ernie Johnson in the role of master of ceremonies, Kenny "The Jet" Smith, Charles Barkley and now, Shaquille O'Neal.
The crew was laughing and having a good time, which is par for the course so far. The four were carrying on about Barkley's Weight Watchers endorsements, his perceived affinity for Twinkies and his latest stint on SNL.
This past Saturday, Barkley was on Saturday Night Live and featured in a skit that demolished Shaq and his on-screen persona. To say the least, they called him boring.
The crew was having fun as they went to break. It was at that point that Johnson's face was placed next to Bill Hader's that played the role of Johnson. And that is when we heard the Shaqtus go Andrew Dice Clay on live TV.
OK, so it wasn't at all as bad as that.
We can all be adults and say that we have muttered the expletive muttered more than once on a daily basis. OK, maybe it's just me and my frustrating life.
The best part is a voice that sounds like Smith saying, "Oh." It was as if he was saying, "Ohhhh, you are in so much trooouuubbbllleee."
This shouldn't be the story that it is, but let's be honest: It is pretty damn funny.
