Daily Market Wrap Up

Moving Today's Market Most of the NHL takes the night off on this last night in October, but the NBA has a full slate of action. There are seven games scheduled, and most of them have shown significant line movement. The public likes the Orlando Magic against the Memphis Grizzlies, as the Magic are receiving 69 percent of the spread wagers. Orlando opened at -7 with Pinnacle and has not moved, despite the public pounding the side of the Magic. The line has moved toward the Grizzlies at certain sportsbooks, which therefore triggered Smart Money plays. There were four alerts, including one at ThePig (+0.60 units), Carib Sports (+1.80 units) and Pinnacle (+0.94 units). Another intriguing play tonight involves the Spurs and Trail Blazers. The Spurs are trying to avoid starting the season 0-2 and they are favored by -1.5 at Pinnacle after opening at Even. San Antonio is receiving 82% of the spread wagers, so the public is just pushing this line towards the Spurs.
