With the NBA Draft over, now fans can look forward to free agency. Free agency is the time where teams add players they think will take them over the top. Some of the top free agents this summer include Nene, Samuel Dalembert, Marc Gasol and Jamal Crawford.

Nene of the Denver Nuggets is a very efficient center and has been for a long time now. He brings toughness and rebounding as well as scoring. He has been in Denver since the start of his career and seems to like it there, so don’t expect him to be switching teams.

Samuel Dalembert isn’t a highly talked about center. He doesn’t score much and certainly doesn’t make highlight reel plays. What he does do is defend and rebound.

He spent last season with the Sacramento Kings and is set to become a free agent now. Teams needing an active, strong defensive presence in the paint won’t hesitate to offer him a sizable contract.

Marc Gasol is yet another center who will be on the market this summer. Even though Gasol would prefer to stay put, the Memphis Grizzlies inked Zach Randolph to a huge contract last summer, so that may spell the end to Gasol’s tenure. Gasol will arguably be the most coveted big man on the market.

Jamal Crawford has been an electrifying scorer who has come off the bench for most of his career. That will not stop him from being one of the most sought after players this summer.

The most logical landing spot for Crawford would be the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls desperately need another player outside of Derrick Rose who can create his own shot.

Signing with the Bulls would allow Crawford to start full time and play for a real championship contender right away.

Other key free agents this summer include the scorer Nick Young, underrated David West and undervalued Glen Davis. It will be interesting to see where all these big names end up signing.
